Blood Bowl Conversions: Humans

This has been a year of green stuff mostly, it seems. Why do I say this? because apart from the Infinity stuff  you´ve already seen I have done and/or finished at least other two conversions. Funny thing, they all have been human blood bowl miniatures, that goes along another two conversions i did long time ago. Since i didn´t post them yet here, now is the time to show them in all their glory.

First two where made a long time ago, the other two, this year:

Infinity Conversions:

I did other conversions this year, again mostly for my friend Von_Drake (hum, maybe I should look for new friends...). These where two projects he has for infinity that asked me to help him with (Ok, I ended up doing them almost by myself actually...)

                  Hazrail with HMG

Started like a simple weapon swap, i swear. But then, the arms where so much different from the new model I decided to go for a "missing link" between the older model and the new: Not a great conversion, he has really big arms now but well, it´s something... :P

Space Hulk Librarian: The Base (II)

Hi folks! Time to finish the base of the Librarian, on the previous entry i almost did it, but it still need working and more detailing. Well, here we go!: First, green stuff on every hole or detail that we don´t want to be "flat". I did a little breather hole in the shape of an imperial eagle (or a winged bug, it depends on who you ask...) covering the plastic bits near his left foot:

Mechanicum work. That is, mostly crap.

Green stuff covering the rest

The part of the base under the stairs was someting that needed more inspiration. I went for a "flooded" area. With toxic slime. Typical imperial :P. So, first, a bit of green stuff on the pipe to make the pouring liquid:

And other details to make it look better.

At this point i noticed a mistake. When i was going to cover the empty space behind the right feet, i saw that with the plasticard "level" in position, there was a hole between both pieces.

First piece

Crap

Couldn´t change it without entering a world of troubling, so i though on another more easy way to fix it...

Floor in position (I)

Floor in position (II)

Also, several details in other zones of the mini. Tried to give them a "xenos" appearance, after all the termie is on a Space Hulk, and those places aren´t exactly clean...

Space Hulk Librarian: The Base (I)

Hi again my friends: last entry show several of my ongoing proyects, and i think it´s time to prove that they are not "dead" proyects. So, let´s go with the work i choose to finish first: A Space Marine Librarian on Terminator Armour. Specifically, the Space Hulk Board Game Librarian (mainly because i lose a bet and was "forced" to do it :P). There are a lot of pictures, so i will do two entries:

Converted in several points, with legal base

The firs problem i found with this mini (aside from being a blood angel mini and his "Look! i found an axe! pose) it´s the base he comes with (the two steps). Nice on a Space Hulk battle, but with a 40k round base lacks... let´s say, "logic". Feels wrong. So, time to work!:

From the GW movement trays. Perfect for pipes!

He needed another level to come down from so... hop!

Plasticard. With a hole for the feet.

Hop!

Glued the pipes, and saw that it wasn´t enought. Another piece of an sprue and ready....

A bunch of Projects

Well, like any good hobbyist i rarely only have one project at a time. Truth be told, i rarely ONLY have less than ten, but maybe it´s just me.... Anyways, y just wanted to do a little showcase of what i´m actually working onto...

First, the next mini that i will paint: the Librarian from the Space Hulk box. It was almost ready to prime and paint, so this year is his year!. The plastic things? You will see..

Who stores, has (except space :P)

Second: another Necron gift from my friend Von Drake. Nearly 99% of my Merry Band of `Crons is a gift from him, so maybe i should pait one...

There will be a tuto. For a good reason...

Third!: No, not an Imperial Strike Cruiser, a ship from the Dystopian Wars game (an Anctartica ship, actually). Bought this last year, don´t want them to stay unpainted for another year (at least, not ALL the fleet)

Hope there are no rebels close...

And last but not least, this one: Yes, i know i already have an sculpting contest, but... this little fellah appeared from nowhere and... well, you know

It will not be a Slimer mini...

Well, hope you´re interested, see you soon! :D

+++++++++++++++++ INITIATING TRANSLATION++++++++++++++++
