Infinity Conversions:

                  I did other conversions this year, again mostly for my friend Von_Drake (hum, maybe I should look for new friends...). These where two projects he has for infinity that asked me to help him with (Ok, I ended up doing them almost by myself actually...)

                  Started like a simple weapon swap, i swear. But then, the arms where so much different from the new model I decided to go for a "missing link" between the older model and the new: Not a great conversion, he has really big arms now but well, it´s something... :P

Más Pirograbado: Infinity

                Siempre que empiezo un proyecto llamémoslo "genérico" (dibujar, crochetar, pirograbar) trato de pensar en posibles cosas a hacer para tener, digámoslo así, "fondo de armario" (vulgo, no encontrarme sin ideas). De nuevo Pirograbado no fue distinto, por lo que aproveché pa preguntarle a los coleguillas si querían algo en particular para así todos sacar algo de provecho (bajo el riesgo de ser uno novato y hacer un truño XD). El único que se apuntó (eso demuestra lo que se fían aquí de mi :P) fue Mr. Von_Drake, que me pidió que le customizase una caja con el Logo de los Kum (Infinity the Game) para sus minis. Así pues, tras una ligera investigación y un par de añadidos porque yo lo valgo, este fue el producto de mis desvelos:

               Well, i was expecting to show you this mini before New Year´s Eve and do a proper review about my Showdown with Mr. Von Drake but holidays are holidays so... here it is, all in one! :P

                   Dos actualizaciones? el mismo día? Locuraaaaaa!!!! 

                   Pero en este caso, el motivo es bien sencillo, concretamente este.

                Xacto, con orgullo y satisfacción pueden ver (o se lo digo directamente a los muy vagos para mirar el link... sabéis quiénes sois...) que he ganado uno de los premios de pintura de BanduaWargames con mi pequeñuelo Caróntida!. Gracias a la fantástica organización, ya me puede el intríngulis de saber qué me ha tocado!! (aunque la placa conmemorativa sin duda será a lo que más cariño tenga ;)).

2014 Showdown: Finished Charontid

2014 Showdown: Sneak Peek

             I had another post ready, but last minute i decided that you would enjoy more this update of the 2014 Showdown. Here it is the WIP of an Infinity miniature (first one i´m expecting to finish, since, well, ever XD), a Combined Army´s Charontid. Pictures coming!

  

LED´s Pants!

 

                  The "pants", except for little retouching here and there are done, in a few weeks i hope to be able to show you the finished miniature (and see if it looks like a  menacing creature or a 70´s techno ball). Oh, i nearly forgot, it´s painted in the Red Lanters colour scheme, which comprises, surprisingly, a lot of red.

+++++++++++++++++ INITIATING TRANSLATION++++++++++++++++

                   Entrada sencilla: trabajo en proceso (o WIP, a decir verdad la mayoría ya hablamos así...) de mi pequeña banda de felices alienígenas genocidas: la IE de Infinity. Los pantacas están prácticamente hechos salvo detalles nimios, espero en breve tenerlo acabado. Pintado en el esquema de los Red Lanters porque, siendo sinceros, tranquilo y relajado no tiene pinta de serlo un animalico que va por el mundo adelante con un fusil de plasma XD.

2014 Showdown

               I know that nearly 1/4 of the year has gone by now (wait, what!?!?) and i didn´t upload any painted miniature yet (and last year I only finished one... whose photos i will upload soon, i promise!) so it´s time to add more minis to this blog. And pictures. People come here for the pictures. Anyway, this year I decided that I needed to paint if not more minis, at least some of the most "veteran" ones from the Evergrowing Pile of Load (TM). And nothing could help me more to this goal than a challenge with my pals.

               And so, a challenge was issued!. Mr. Killian Doyle (who is a lazy ass and, therefore, doesn´t have a blog, but promised to paint 365 minis this year, duh) was my main target, and the rules where simple: we have to paint minis that we "owe" to someone in one way or another, either because we had promised that we will paint it for them, or either because they where gifs. At the end of the year we will see what we have and see if we rate number, quality, or just we simply point at mine and laught (most probably). Well, the first challenge was cast (Don´t have too much hopes for this one, that guy it´s nuts and it´s painting 365 minis this year... and actually DOING IT). Truth is it doesn´t matter as long as he paints some of the gifts he had received from me this last years *wink wink*.

                But challenge calls challenge.

             And then, my friend Von_Drake dared to challenge me on his blog. The objective: 200 points of Infinity the Game for our Annual face off. Since nearly all my Infinity minis were gifts, i could paint the same mini and actually "score" points on both duels so well, ¡Challenge accepted!. Yes, i know, it´s kind of cheating but it´s NOT exactly cheating so... go away XD.

              Anyways, i had already started my army long time ago (building, not painting, i´m not THAT cheater XD), and that was plain luck, because Morats (or Space Monkeys as I call them) on his first incarnation seriously needed green stuff on several zones. Problems? Skinny legs and ridiculous mouths (actually, no mouths). I tried to fix them and... here is what i got:
