No moridos: Setekh y perro no muerto

                   Don´t believe for a second that I don´t paint anymore: It´s just that i´m usually busy with other stuff so i don´t upload pictures. Proof? here there are, two minis on the same entry!:

                   This one was a gift for my friend Von_Drake. I modelled him a mask because... well, the original face was hideous. And after a probably-too-long waiting (for my friend), here it was the result!

Nurgle Beast (IV)

                Good news everyone!.

              Ok, i needed to use that phrase :P. These are not exactly news in the journalist way, but a new update! This time, the Beast of Nurgle, wich now enters his final stage: only two more updates and done (same as with the warrior, the second one will be the finished miniature, nothing more).

                  Enought talking, more seeying! Now it´s growing hair things on his head!

              Ok, here we are at last with a new update! Now, time for this little sluggish abomination i´m actually enjoying sculpting. Time to give he/she/it sight!!

                      Also, I keep working on the rest of the body, mostly the legs. The right one on the pictures is almost finished.

Nurgle Beast (I)

                 Ok, this is gonna be a "fast update" of the blog since i´m REALLY busy (stupid interesting online courses XD). Second episode of the, now you know, Nurgle Beast i´m sculpting. It has grow a lot, now he/she/it even has legs!. The different-colored green stuff you can see in the mini are areas that i already "finished" sculpting. I know it´s not exactly the usual way of doing this, but come on, it´s a daemonic creature, doesn´t follow logic!

Sideway Project

             While i wait for more replies for my 2014 Game (being Space Marines-related i truly was expecting a bigger feedback XD) i´m going to show you a little sideway project i´m doing.

                 No, i didn´t forget the Librarian (it´s finished, only needs Photoshop)

                 No, i didn´t forget the warrior of Nurgle, i just... ran out of updates....

                 No, i didn´t forget about the Apocalipse photos! Shut up!

                 Ok, sorry, it´s just that i usually run several proyects at the same time, specially when i´m working with green stuff: After doing a little detail/adding a great bunch of stuff, i left the mini to dry so i end up with, well, "nothing" to do. Working with the Nurgle Warrior one day i just had the "urge" to start this little friend, an idea who has been running through my mind for a long time, so... well, you can see, silver paper and a little liquid green stuff later....

                Well, it took me more than i expected, but here they are the photos of my recently finished skink champion (last mini of 2012). I think i´m improving my NMM Gold, but still not completely convinced, specially on the bracelets. Meh, an step forward, anyways... Hope you like it, every comment wellcome!:

A Game of Models 2013: The mini

            Bien, el concurso para elegir el artwork ha finalizado, y ha salido elegido el que véis ahí arriba, por lo que durante este año 2013 tocará por mi parte esculpir a este majo y agradable guerrerocho de Nurgle :P. Iré poniendo avances según vaya habiéndolos, aceptaré sugerencias, comentarios, ingresos en cuenta, esas cosas típicas.... :P. De triunfar el concurso, pal fin de año monto otro XD.

Armies on Parade (III)

             And here it comes the last entry of this series! And the one with the bigger number of photos, i think. Only two armies remaining, here they are:

                This was my first 40k army (and the only one who actually saw battlefield action...). You can see that the paintjob well... needs redoing (being politely...). Since the Space Marine Chapters are divided in Companies, i though i should divide my minis the same way:

Let´s play a game: Last Voting!!

               Here we are again folks... there were few votes but interesting choices. Well, at last... the final poll!!. Now, YOU will choose the mini i will sculpt the next year! If the result is a success maybe next year i will repeat the experiment :).

Options:

           One: This picture has a mini, but old beyond recognition and ugly has hell, so here it is:

Lot of Nurglins... don´t know if i should sculpt them if this win :P

            Two: This is a war scene, so if you select it you must choose a warrior on it, sorry :P

     Three: A classic. Also, unless stated otherwise, i will sculpt the warrior, not the plaguebearer :P

Skink WIP (III)

                  Well, third and last WIP entry for this mini, next one will be the (i hope) finished one. Now it has the Gold (minus the weapon) and Jade zones done, and also the basic colors in the jungle base, hope you like it!

                  Still not convinced about the NMM Gold (not the execution but the... "placement of the light", you can say), i will touch it a little but not redo it for two reasons:

             1) It´s a good way to learn

             2) I don´t wanna repaint it XD.

              Well, the first voting has ended (five votes... was expecting a little more, actually XD), and the final winner was...

               With a vote on the last second XD. Nurgle and Tzeentch then... well, time for the second row, now you must say a random page of this book, and i will select the closest arwork to that page (first upwards, then downwards if there isn´t a picture on the page). Just remember a few tips:

• If two "players" choose the same artwork, sorry!, only one picture added :P.
• If the page has an artwork in the edges it can be chosen! (the second option has plenty of them, in example). As i told you before, if the page has several drawings all of them will enter the final poll
• I will follow the pdf number of page UNLESS the pages has a number, (or i have the book XD) in that case i will follow THAT number. Example: Champions of Chaos page 13 (pdf) is the book page 10 (you can see it on the scanned page). Well, if you say "page 10" i will go for this page, not the pdf page.
• Book goes from 2 to 296

          

          You can vote from now to the 19 of December (i´m pretty sure everyone who really wants to vote will have voted way before that date...). Then, it will start the third and last row, selecting the final picture. And then... sculpting!

Armies on Parade (II)

             Didn´t forget about this series because of all the contest thing, here are the second episode of my "Armies on Parade" showcase. Remember, three kind of "entries": Armies (complete, legal ones), Warbands (one complete unit, but not enought for an army) and Happy Tree Friends (single miniatures, incomplete units, etc). Well, here we go:

Lizardmen

               If you still remember the previous post, i told that Warriors of Chaos were my first minis but not my first army. Well, here is the lucky one!:
