Converted in several points, with legal base |
The firs problem i found with this mini (aside from being a blood angel mini and his "Look! i found an axe! pose) it´s the base he comes with (the two steps). Nice on a Space Hulk battle, but with a 40k round base lacks... let´s say, "logic". Feels wrong. So, time to work!:
From the GW movement trays. Perfect for pipes! |
He needed another level to come down from so... hop!
Plasticard. With a hole for the feet. |
Hop! |
Glued the pipes, and saw that it wasn´t enought. Another piece of an sprue and ready....
Nearly the same hight |
But i needed to be sure that the newly made upper floor will have some... "basement" or reinforcement to not break. Well, nothing easier:
Made. All of this took a very small amount of time, really! |
Covered with liquid green stuff the holes (it´s what´s useful for...)
A test:
Ta-da! |
There were still holes that make no sense (like the one next to the left feet). Well, again, sprue bits to the rescue!
No need to be cautious here |
And that´s all for now, in the next entry i will show the rest of the photos. Hope i can do a painting step-by step soon, also!
See you soon!
+++++++++++++++++ INITIATING TRANSLATION++++++++++++++++
