A Game of Models 2013: Sculpting (VI)

                   Well, new year and new updates of this little fellah! Hope this project will not last too much time (Sadly i´m usually wrong on this things :P), but in the meantime, here there are more photos, because that´s what you want ;) :

                       You can see a mockup of the head, and the right arm mostly finished. This is where all starts going slow, since little details take so much time and barely alters the finishing mini (on an overall look, i mean).

                     A bit more... with both shoulders done and the robe started.

                  Also, here it is the first size comparison with a GW chaos warrior mini. Yes, yes i know, i´m unable to learn proportions, it seems. Well, Chaos Lords are big *ahem*.

Also putting it into a base will be "interesting"

                   Now is the time to give you some explanations: after having made over 50% of this mini, I started to think that it should be nice to make copies. That would need me to make a mold (or ordering copies elsewhere) and, the most important thing, to be careful in certain details of the little man who could give problems in a casting attemp (like some spikes). That meant that minor changes were made to the original miniature (after all, I only needed to add those little details to one copy to have the "original one").

                    But... then I though it would also be nice to use this fellah as a player on my Nurgle Blood Bowl team. More changes. And it also exists the possibility that, should i order copies from someone, the Great Watcher could come around and sue me. With good reasons, must say. Sumarizing, i needed to add more differences to my WIP. And the best/quickest way was adding a helmet! (plus some other stuff, but the helmet it´s the easy thing to see XD).

                       I know this is not EXACTLY the same as the original artwork. Don´t worry, i will make a copy and turn it into an exact copy of the picture, but it will not be soon. Be gentle, i´m just trying to make something useful with my work :P

+++++++++++++++++ INITIATING TRANSLATION++++++++++++++++

                     En fin, toca publicar el primer post "serio" del año. Con serio quiero decir con fotos de minis, que pa eso habéis venido XD. Podéis observar el avance, ahora más evidente (ya que trato de reducir el número de actualizaciones pa que no se haga eterno) y cómo en las últimas fotos ha progresado enormemente. También explicaros, a los que no sepáis inglés, que cuando ya iba muy avanzado me decidí a hacer copias de esta mini, algo que ya hice con otras, y que esta idea peregrina implicó diversos cambios y ajustes, especialmente con los llamados "pinchos nonsense", o lo que es lo mismo, aquellas púas del dibujo en ángulos... digamos que no aptos para moldes. Hubo que cambiar eso, y luego vino otra idea peregrina: la adaptabilidad a blood bowl. Ciertamente si voy a hacer copias (mías o encargadas, ya veremos) lo mejor es diferenciar bien el producto de la obra original (por si el Gran Wigilante se enfada...) así que hubo que ajustar diversos elementos de la obra. ... que la hicieron de nuevo más diferente de lo esperado.

                       Esto no tiene por que ser un problema, pues teniendo copias con algo de trabajo puedes lograr una figura igual al artwork, pero de inicio acabas con algo distinto a lo que habías prometido, y eso está feo. Así pues, pido disculpas y ruego su comprensión: lo hago por el chou bisnes, después de todo XD.


                       Resumiendo: que así va la cosa y que contamos con traerles más imágenes de la Bestia Pustrefacta en breve, nos vemos!
