Space Hulk Librarian: Painting (III)

           Well, next update of the Terminator step by step series (Actually, if you want to know anything about the making/painting of this fellah you only have to ask, i don´t bite. Usually. :P). The grasp of the power axe is done, and the light coming from it, the freehands, the tunic... i´m painting this one quite fast, i didn´t finish it yet because i only paint on Saturday´s afternoons (and not all of them) so...
            But i´m happy with it. Really happy. Here it is:

              Bueno, tercer post de este proyecto terminatoril, ahora con gran parte terminada. A decir verdad, realmente poco le falta salvo los cables del hacha y "perfeccionar" más el efecto de luz direccional en algunas partes, pero aun así me llevará su tiempo. Eso y la base, que aún no tengo muy claro cómo hacerla X_D. Sea como sea, espero que os guste! :D

In Memoriam: Ray Harryhausen (1920-2013)

            Because I admire him. Because I always enjoyed his films. Because I still think Medusae´s scene has not been beaten with more modern technology. And because good people are those who leave behind a better world when they pass away. He give us imagination, dreams, and joy. He did. 

            Saw him in Barcelona long time ago. Hope i will, somehow, see him again, and call him Master.

Qwertee Shirt Design (I)

                For those of you that don´t already know, Qwertee it´s a web specialized in custom t-shirts. Yes, there are a lot of these around the world, but this page has one thing of interest: The design of his shirts comes from all the people that can draw and, should i say, have sense of humor. The submits are then voted, and only the more popular get printed on shirts. Also, they pay a little to the artist :P. Ok, there are probably similar pages, why talking about this one?

                The reason, if you need one, it´s because the other day my sister and I designed a shirt and uploaded it to the page. Mine was the idea, and hers the draw, and now, it´s on the voting stage, waiting to see if it has success or not. This is were you, my reader(s?) enter: take a look, and if you´re interested, vote for it (note: you have to be registered :P). Probably you will see more of our/mine artwork on that page, so i will told you, don´t worry XD.

               Bien, para aquellos que no lo sepan aún (alguno habrá), Qwertee (enlace en la versión inglesa XD) es una página de camisetas cuyos diseños son realizados por los internautas que tienen arte pa dibujar, mucha imaginación, o ambas cosas (lo más habitual). La idea es que tras diseñar su camiseta ideal, el artista la sube a la página y la gente la vota... lo que, si consigue suficientes votos, nos lleva al punto más importante: la camiseta se imprime y se pone a la venta (y hasta dicen que le pagan algo al autor, miratuquecosas). A qué viene este tostón? a que el otro día mi hermana y yo diseñamos una camiseta (ella dibujo, yo idea) y tras enviarla a qwertee hoy la han puesto para que sea votada... y aquí es donde entráis vosotros, mis lectores: echádle un ojo, y si os gusta, dadle un votillo (hay que estar registrado, eso sí). Tampoco se le harán ascos a compartirlo en el feis y en demás redes de esas llamadas sociales :P
